Handmade Ceramic Soap Dish Blue White Grid, Coastal Bathroom Accessory

This handmade ceramic soap dish, painted with a contemporary design could make a lovely addition to any bathroom, kitchen or laundry room. Its fresh blue & white grid pattern has a both a modern & coastal appeal. Holes allow water to drain away, keeping your soap dry & clean & 4 little feet keep the dish raised above any wet surfaces. NB The remaining items currently in stock are those which are slightly smaller than those originally used to be photographed for this listing. They measure approximately 11.75cm x 9.5cm. The dish is made from terracotta clay which, is initially moulded around a large pebble from the beach. It is then gently smoothed to soften & round the edges & it's four feet fastened to the base. As the clay starts to dry & harden, the holes are drilled. After being left to dry slowly & thoroughly (ideally, I like to give it a week to dry properly), it is bisque fired & later glazed with a traditional majolica-style Tin white glaze & hand painted with blue Cobalt oxide. It then heads back to the kiln for a second firing. The logo for Shoreline Ceramics is stamped onto the bottom of one of the feet. Every Shoreline Ceramics item is made to be unique & is carefully hand crafted & painted. Glaze density, depth of colour & design will vary from piece to piece. Personally, I love the fact that each piece is so individual, but please do just bear this in mind when making your purchase.
