Peacock Feather, Handmade Lampshade

This is a gorgeous Peacock Feathers handmade lampshade which can be made with a variety of linings, either with a white lining or a brushed, gold, copper or silver lining. It would look beautiful in a variety of settings & is handmade from a lovely cotton fabric with highlights woven into the feathers. Most of my lampshades are made to order but I usually have one in stock ready to be shipped out for those times when you need something in a hurry! I take great care in ensuring the placement of the fabric is completed to show off the lampshade to its best. Dependent on what size shade you order your lampshade will look very similar to the one pictured. This shade would look perfectly at home either in a modern home, cottage or countryside home & I am sure it will look lovely with a great range of interior design schemes. All my lampshades can be made as either pendant (for the ceiling), table or floor standing lamps. Please remember to choose the correct option as to whether you would require either a ceiling shade or lamp shade. I make all the lampshades to a professional standard, using a neat seam & rolled edges, from my home in the beautiful small rural market town of Pateley Bridge in North Yorkshire. Initially I made lampshades for friends & family but was finally encouraged to turn my small hobby into a new business venture. If you order a lampshade larger than a 40cm diameter, then due to the width of the fabric I will need to add an extra panel to accommodate this. If you are ordering a white lining, then the extra join will be seen when lit. If you are ordering a metallic lining then this will not be visible even when the light is lit. All the lampshades are made using high-quality, flame-retardant PVC materials with fabric covering & frames which have passed the glow wire test carried out by the Lighting Association. It is recommended that a low energy bulb of maximum 40 watt is used. The frames are fitted with a 39mm European ring fitting with a removable 29mm UK reducing ring fitted. This then means that all my lampshades are suitable for both UK or European lamps.
