Large Iron Wall Clock Romantic Floral Bird Design - Bell Epoque Style By The Steel Things

This large wall clock was designed by Mara, my partner, with whom we often work together. We made it for an exhibition we did called WEDDINGS. We named it BELL EPOQUE because its shape & details correspond so well to this art style - late 19th & early 20th centuries. The combination of the roughness of the rusted iron & the tenderness of the garland of fine, delicate flowers is interesting. in the top center, you can see a pair of birds in love. The clock face is located in the lower center & is made of old, solid, rough iron. This wall clock is unique work of art, entirely handmade by the two of us. It has a diameter of 50 centimeters, but some elements protrude from the circle, & it reaches a height of 54 cm. It is 10 cm deep & weighs 3.250 kilos. It could very well mark the iron anniversary, which is the 6th. It's also a great choice for a wedding gift. Either way, this wall clock will be the focal point of your home decor. Keep in mind, that in spite of the acryllic varnish, the iron things are still able to rust. This is not a defect, but an Effect! Depending on the place you keep them, & the athmospheric conditions your clock could rust more or less. The more moisture - the more rust.
