Large Murder She Wrote Illustrated & Handmade Cushion

- Illustrated & handmade by Agnes featuring the many faces of Angela Lansbury as Jessica Fletcher - Envelope-backed with a hardy black polycotton - With a 50cm x 50cm (20 x 20) pad - Printed in Kent, UK - Medium-weight cotton twill (213gsm) with a diagonal weave, using eco-friendly water-based pigment inks. - Edges serged for stability - Each cushion is handmade to size may vary by a few millimetres. I realised recently that there was something missing from my shop - & it was Angela Lansbury-shaped. Inspired by TV's most compassionate, articulate, smart, goofy & perceptive detective, I've been working on some Jessica illustrations late into the night (a perfect excuse to watch as many episodes of Murder She Wrote as I can). I've chosen some of JB Fletcher's most iconic faces, including some of her best undercover disguises. Turbans, sunhats, skiing goggles, giant spectacles; the legendary Ms Lansbury can rock them all. They are in a repeated colourful collage of portraits & faces in pale pinks, whites & yellows, with red, yellow & blue accents. Printed in Kent onto a soft, medium-weight cotton twill (213gsm) with a diagonal weave, using eco-friendly water based pigment inks, each bag is cut & sewn by myself. Every seam is double-stitched for extra strength. They have a plain black envelope backing, which means that they can be easily removed for gentle washing. These cushion pads are 50cm x 50cm square (20 x 20). A smaller size (40cm square) is also available, as is a large cushion cover without a cushion pad to fill it. I like my cushions to be nice & snug; for this reason each cover is cut to the correct size but sewn with a reasonable seam allowance which will let the cushion pad fit tightly inside. The edge of each piece of fabric is also serged for stability. Each cushion is handmade so size may vary by a few millimetres.
