Tshirt Quilt - Custom Throw Sized T-shirt quilt - Memory Quilt (Using Approx. 20 shirts) I will take your old (but loved!) t-shirts & make them into a quilt. All those shirts can come out of drawers & boxes & be turned into a usable, useful & beautiful keepsake that will last a lifetime! Using (around) 24 shirts, I will make a standard throw sized quilt (approx. 48x60). I can also make twin, double, queen & king sized quilts depending on how many shirts you have. Please contact me directly for pricing & custom options. I will stabilize the shirts before cutting out the quilt blocks. Then, I sew the blocks together. I can add sashing (fabric strips between the blocks) or a border if you wish. I use quality cotton/poly blend batting & layer your quilt with the backing fabric in your choice of colors. I straight line quilt the quilt on my machine & add the binding (same fabric as backing). All work is done in my smoke free home. The price listed is for a standard throw sized quilt. Price will go up or down depending on the number of shirts you have & the finished size quilt you would like. When I say Custom Quilt, I mean CUSTOM. Every quilt I make is unique - your quilt will not be like anyone else's! Here are some guidelines to get you started on your order: Approximate number of shirt designs needed for a mosaic style quilt: Throw - 20 Large Throw - 30 Twin/Twin XL - 35 Double/Queen - 42 King - 56 These numbers are just a guideline. Smaller t-shirt designs can sometimes be combined to make one block. Please contact me & I will work with you to get the result that you want. - Shirt numbers are based on medium & large adult sized shirts. If you have larger or smaller shirts to use please contact me for help with number of shirts & quilt size. - Please indicate whether you want the front, back or both sides of your shirt used. (Front & back will count as 2 shirts, unless one is a small pocket design.) - Do not cut your shirts before sending them to me. (If some have already been cut, let me know ahead of time) - Please let me know if you have a color preference for the backing & binding of the quilt. - I sometimes have questions during the process.
