These blocks are air dried, not kiln dried & while rare, they may react to changes in their environment, especially during the first few weeks. You may notice: ~ Slight movement or cracking as the wood settles ~ Marks appearing on carpet or flooring (especially with unfinished versions check regularly) ~ in rare cases, some surface mould if placed in very damp spaces The best thing to do? Let them breathe. Check regularly at first. Avoid placing directly in sunlight, high humidity, or extremely dry rooms until the oak has adjusted.
