This hand blown glass bowl/vase was created using the complex glass cane & incalmo processes. & each cane used in this piece had to be created separately before the piece was made. These highly detailed canes are sometimes commonly known as twisty canes. It also is a 3 section incalmo - two sections of the cane work, & one section of End Of Day glass. These sections were combined while the glass is hot using a complex Italian process known as incalmo. Be sure to zoom in & see the fine detail in the design of this piece.
