If desired the shutter can hide or reveal the watch (set to alternate in opening & closing when the shutter is released). While the shutter maintains its character the watch movement is a reliable quartz movement. Fully functional & designed to be carried in pants pocket connecting to a belt loop or can be used as a display piece. Comes in a wooden display box. The watch can be mounted to the 'Shutter Camera' to become a Clock. Holds watch when not in use or for permanent display (See listing) Specifications Shutter: 3 bladed Compur leaf shutter with lens (rear element of lens has been replaced with watch movement). Vintage shutter has light patina & fully functional aperture & shutter. Diameter: 67mm (82mm including the eye bolt), 28mm deep/thick with 20cm leather strap. Watch face: 1900-1920 enamel dial. Watch movement: New 3 Hand Harley Ronda Quartz movement using 364 cell. Aluminium backing can be removed to adjust the time but requires some skill (movement needs to be 100% sealed to avoid getting dust in while in the pocket).
