Handmade Piranha Plant Head Mask - Scary Halloween Costume

Two headed, over the shoulder Beetlejuice sandworm hand puppet! Head(s) are made from strong, durable plaster while the details like eyes, teeth & sculptural parts on the heads are created with paper foam clay & other media. It is masterfully painted to capture the terrifying yet somehow comical claymation elements making this classic charmer so gruesome, frightening & lovable all at once. Ferocious, pointy teeth are striped black & white on the outer head-just like the original- & realistically yellowed on the inside smaller heads' teeth. Metallic green blue lips on both heads & pink spots on the inner head. The body is built of striped wool felt. hand made to fit the proportions of tge heads on each individual samdworm. elastic straps abd ginger holds are placed at strategic points to help support this large pupoet. The puppet mechanism is in the inner head, giving this head/your hand the room to extend outside of the outer head's mouth, & open & close its jaws. You'll have fun pinching, biting, moving & animating with this puppet! Outer head is about 7-8 from base to tip of mouth/snout. Inner head is about 5-6. All parts are made by hand; no molds are used, so sizes will vary slightly with each build, & each puppet is made at the time of order, so each sandworm is unique - no two ever look exactly alike! The sandworm is a labor of love. I don't cut corners, & my aim is for each puppet to be a little piece of functional art for you to cherish & use again & again. The body is long. It is thick, quality felt & holds up very nicely. I double it so the felt has great body, feels & looks full & stands up on its own. It is partially stuffed inside the sandworm body to flesh it out. About 4'-5' long in total. I have made the sand worm over 6' in length previously, as a custom order. It easily wraps around the shoulders, or a torso at that size. Please specify if you'd like a longer body for a slight increase in price ($25 additional). It's still a large, generously sized puppet at the standard 4'-5' & is not particularly heavy. The head(s) being the heaviest part- maybe 3lbs?... could easily be worn around all day/night long even for a child. Puppet takes about 1-3 weeks to create for you from start to finish. Please plan accordingly if ordering for a specific time frame or event. Orders placed for Halloween are encouraged to order a month in advance at least, as this is my busiest season.
