This unique mounted tabletop mobile is finished in a striking matte red finish with its assembly balanced atop a soldered sheet metal stand. As the piece moves, the light & shadows illuminate & darken its angled surfaces, playfully animating the space it inhabits. For the best finish & lasting durability, the mobile is constructed with steel & utilizes a baked-on enamel painting process. The sculpture arrives in three parts, & assembles easily without the need for tools. Approximate measurements: 13H x 12W x 3D Recommended for indoor use only. Note: This is a kinetic mobile in the Alexander Calder tradition, so there is no perpetual motion, centrifugal force, magnets, or motors at work with the sculpture. Any movement is caused by touch or air disturbance (like Calder mobiles) until coming to rest.
