Wood Candleholders

Made from a reclaimed 3x12 timber beam, this candleholder brings a rustic & modern feel. The wood is first ripped & cut to size. All edges are rounded over with a router. The entire piece then gets sanded from 60 grit to 320 grit to give it the soft feel. I torch the whole piece, then sand off the charring on top, & give a light sanding to the rest of the piece. Then the holes are drilled & the piece is stained. On the sides you see the fire effect with the stain & you see the stain on wood color on the top. I give it one more light sanding to bring out the wood color & finish it off with lacquer. This piece holds 2 glass candles (2)(included). 2 pots from your local nursery can also fit in the 2 holes.
