Handmade ceramic table lamp with organic, geometric shape. This lamp has a slightly cubist feel. Imagine it on a sideboard or a pair of nightstands. It is also suitable for an office or study. Wherever it is plugged in, this handmade lamp will add warmth & character. The original form was created using the ancient coil & pinch technique. The result of this process is a softly textured surface that reflects light whether the lamp is turned on or off. Thin, raised white stripes are drawn on individually, adding subtle texture. Each lamp is slip cast by hand from a plaster mold that I make from my original creation. This means you can order a pair & they will match. The glaze & stripes are applied by hand, so there are always subtle differences & each one is unique. The shade is white linen, custom made for me in the USA. High quality hardware & cloth covered cord complete the piece. You have a choice of matching, ceramic finial, brushed nickel, or bronze for the white version.
