A beautiful solid bronze (smaller)eagle sculpture by Steve Langford Hot cast sculpture Limited Edition Size: 18 x 8 x 6 cm, weight 490 gram. Steve Langford was born in Worcester, & as a child he was very creative. He started work at the Royal Worcester Porcelain company as an artist straight from school & went on to work on many aspects of the ceramics trade including ornamental & useful casting. He has never been to art College & is self-taught. After many years with Royal Worcester Porcelain he left to join Country Artist as a sculptor. While there, he worked on many different projects but mainly wildlife sculptures & became known for his miniature work. His work has sold all over the world including America. He also did a lot of work for mail order companies who sold the pieces through the Sunday Supplements. For your information, each sculpture is individually hand-crafted using traditional foundry hot-casting techniques & is hand-patinated. As a result, the finishing & colour may vary slightly from piece to piece, making every item unique.
