Quick, hand-painted floral motifs, modified by Morris c. 1895 from a wallpaper to a tile design, appealed to Morris as they retained a feeling of cottage gardens. This new fabric version replicates the simplicity & freshness of the original & is printed on cotton-linen blend upholstery fabric. Each portiere will be lovingly handcrafted just for you & you won't be disappointed. Printed onto a quality 49% linen 38% cotton 13% nylon mix . Lined with plain designer plush velvet for a grand feel. The printed linen union on the front & plain velvet on the back makes this a heavy weight curtain. If you would like a rod pocket instead, let us know your rod diameter before ordering. The width of each single portiere panel will be approx 52 wide. This will fit to / around & between a standard size door & frame of up to 36, giving a traditional arts & crafts loose gather.
