The size of one repeat of the stencil covers 50cm/20 high x 110/42 wide. So this stencil is very efficient at covering wall areas quickly & creating a big impact. The most simple way to use this stencil is to paint a band of colour along the bottom of a wall space & then use the stencil to repeat the pine forest pattern along the top. Doing this in a very dark tone of grey/black would look amazing on a light grey wall... but you can use any colours which you want depending on your style preferences. Another great idea is to Paint a 2 tone effect ( see images) where you paint a light colored line of pine trees higher up the wall & then repeat over the top with a darker tone to paint the foreground trees, this makes a scene which has more depth. You could even go further & do extra layers - it just depends on how far you want to take it! Painting a rugged mountain line on the wall first & then going over that with the stencil is another simple alternative design which you could do, to create a mountain & pine tree scene.
