Handmade Ceramic House Sculpture, Israeli Art Miniature, Beach Stone Base

This is a hand made ceramic sculpture of a miniature house & tree on a Mediterranean beach stone. I made this little ceramic house using white clay, oxide (for emphasizing cracks & connections) & bright ceramic colors. The tree is painted with spotted green glaze. I get my inspiration for the houses from the streets of Tel Aviv & old Jaffa, but also from my visits at other places in my country & over seas. I love combining materials that I find, usually at the beach, so this little sculpture includes a Mediterranean beach stone from my last walk on the beach. The white stone has sparks in it, I hope it shows in the pictures.
