Lavender Mist - Handmade Ceramic Stoneware Hanging Teardrop Bird Feeder - Frost Resistant

This Stoneware Bird Feeder has been made by the Sheppard brother's in a little enterprise we began in the first Lockdown in 2020. We are brothers aged 19 & 15 & with the help of our father we have created an original teardrop shape & made a slip casting mould around it. We then fill the mould with liquid clay (slip) & add a special metal hook. It is then fired & then we add various combinations of glazes & fire again to 1220c. The glaze moves & blends in the kiln, making each one unique & slightly different to the photos you can see online. They Measure 25cm in height & 13cm in width. Large hole = 8cm diameter opening. Small hole = 5cm diameter opening for the smaller birds. Because they are made from high temperature, stoneware clay, they are durable enough to withstand harsh weather, unlike lower temperature clays.
