Awesome Wood Clock, replica of the South Rose Window of the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, France. The South Rose Window (Rose Sud or Rose du Midi) of the Notre Dame Cathedral was offered by King Saint Louis, & was built in 1260. Unlike so many of the windows in European cathedrals, most of the panes in it still have their original glass. The Cathedral is widely considered to be one of the finest examples of French Gothic architecture. Made from two pieces pasted with veneer sheets of Oak & Mahogany or Sapele, to provide dimension & depth, as well as a striking contrast between the colors of the woods. Hand varnished & finished. Designed & produced meticulously, Very detailed. The quartz movement is both RoHS & CE certified. Metal hands with continuous non-stop / non-ticking movement of the second hand.
