WAX CANDLE SAFETY - Never leave a burning candle unattended. - Burn candle away from children & pets. - Never burn your candle for more than 3 hours at a time. Always extinguish once your candle has a decent wax pool & has a border of 0.5cm as this is when you should extinguish & 'hug' your candle. this means you gently turn in the edges of the candle which on subsequent burns, will form a memory barrier. - Stop using candle when about an inch of wax remains. - Only burn candle on a level heat resistant surface. - Do not burn candle on or near anything that can catch fire (curtains, rugs etc). - Always burn pillar candles on a candle holder or small plate to protect surfaces in case wax spills. This candle is sold as a decorative candle & is made for decorative purposes however if you are intending to light your candle please be aware that due to the size, shape & nature of soy candles the burn time might be less than expected. If you choose to add fragrance oil to your candle the wick + the fragrance oil will make you candle burn a lot faster than if it was un-scented. Due to the candles not being in a container the wax will melt down the sides & will cause spills so place your candle on a heat proof candle plate with boarders & DO NOT leave a burning candle unattended.
