Handfelted lampshade, hanging lamp, warm white pendant light, gives soft light for nice ambiance. Great for dinner table or bedroom! This lamp will be made to order! This felted lampshade has an all natural & somewhat irregular look & feel. It was made with Wensleydale wool, in its natural undyed & unbleached color. Wensleydale wool has very long & curly fibers, which create a wonderful transparent felt. When the light is on, you can clearly see the structure of the felted wool. It will fit perfectly in any type of natural home, but may also make a nice contrast in a modern or industrial designed environment. The light is warm & soft, & this lamp will lighten up any dark corner in your home, as well as your dining table, bedroom, baby- or children's room! Approximate measurements: Height 22 cm / 8 3/4 inches Circumference (at the bottom) 80 cm / 31 1/2 inches Diameter (at the bottom) 28 cm / 11 inches There are several options for your purchase: you can buy just the shade, & fix the socket & cable yourself, or I can provide a socket & flex cord - everything assembled of course. You can make your choice in the drop down menu. Other flex cord colours can also be provided upon request. Contact me if your preferred cord is not in the menu, or if you need a longer one! If you choose any cable, the socket will be included automatically. I currently do not have this shade in stock. I will make it for you upon purchase. If you need more, please contact me, I will make it a custom order. It will take 1 to 2 weeks to make & ship the lamp. All my lampshades are made by hand; their shape is somewhat irregular, & no two lampshades are exactly the same. I consider this to be characteristic of the material & the felting process, which contributes to the uniqueness of the piece. By nature wool does not burn, & also the lampshade was reinforced lightly with a non-flammable substance, which makes this lamp completely safe. Nevertheless it is best used in combination with a low energy lightbulb, which doesn't become too hot!
