Handfelted lampshade, hanging lamp, natural white pendant light, gives soft light for nice ambiance. Great for dinner table or bedroom! OOAK & ready to ship! This lovely little lamp was made of a wonderful white viscose & cotton lace fabric, which I felted between layers of natural white wool. When the light is off, the lampshade looks almost solid white with an intersting texture; when the light is on, you can clearly see the lovely lace pattern shimmering through the white felted wool. The light is very warm & soft, & this lamp will lighten up any dark corner in your home, as well as your dining table or your your bedroom! By nature wool does not burn, & also the lampshade was reinforced lightly with a non-flammable substance, which makes this lamp completely safe. Nevertheless it is best used in combination with a low energy lightbulb, which doesn't become too hot! All my lampshades are made by hand; their shape is somewhat irregular, & no two lampshades are exactly the same. I consider this to be the character of the material & the felting process, which contributes to the uniqueness of the piece.
