This is a MIx or MATCH for 2 CEDAR or BLACK WALNUT handcrafted soap decks. We discontinued the oil finished SOAP DECKS & only offer them unfinished. The CEDAR soap decks vary in color from a light tan to dark pink-purple & some even have a variegated look. The BLACK WALNUT soap decks are a medium brown color. Our soap decks measure 3 by 4 3/4 to fit our all natural handmade soaps. These decks are not stained, but left in their natural state. Due to nature of wood they change color with regular use after coming in contact with soap & water, but it does not affect their functionality. By using a good draining holder your soap will drain & not get soggy, therefore it will result in a longer lasting bar. Our cedar decks are sanded down to a silky smooth finish while the black walnut offers a beautiful looking natural color. They're very easy to clean due to the rounded grooves design. These soap dishes were handmade by my wonderful husband who is a very talented woodworker & offered to make these to complement my handmade soaps.
