Wool Sweater Throw Quilt

Handmade using repurposed wool sweaters or jackets sourced from my local thrift store, I designed & created this throw quilt. The sweaters are felted, deconstructed & cut into quilt squares. Nothing is wasted - buttons are saved & used for adornment on the quilt, zippers are utilized in other projects. The top is machine sewn, but the throw is finished entirely by hand. The backing is a plush fleece fabric, just right for curling up on the sofa on a chilly evening! The finished size is approximately 40x60. This quilt is crafted in shades of red, black & white. The backing is black plush fleece & it is finished with red blanket stitching. Wool Sweater Throw Quilt
