Seidel Tanning is a fourth generation, family-owned business that sources all of their hides from US domestic markets. They work to combine new & old techniques, use a combination of chrome & vegetable tanning, & make all of their leather to order. Seidel has worked with us to create the perfect formula for our leather, which has a unique & rugged look. This leather develops a nice patina with use, is durable, & resistant to color fading over time. The leather for the table mat is top quality full grain leather. The full grain is a tanned leather with high-grade oils, stains, & finishes to make the leather wear in nicely over time. Rather than wearing out, it develops a beautiful patina during the lifetime. Full Grain: Leather that has its surface left completely intact, showing all natural characteristics of the hide. Pull-up: The temporary lightening of certain leathers when folded.
