Use these PLANS to make the following; simple wooden Jack o' Lantern from 6x1 & 3x1 lumber fun coffin candy boxes - 2 sizes simple wooden Halloween candle holder decorations DESCRIPTION OF THE FINISHED ITEMS Jack o Lantern You will be making a wooden Jack o' Lantern that measures 6 1/2 by 5 1/2 & is about 12 tall ( that's about 18 cm x 14 cm & around 30 cm tall). You can make 3 lanterns from an 8 ft (2.4 m) length of 6x1 & 3x1 lumber so they are cheap to make. You will also need wood glue & a few nails. For cutting out the designs you will need a jigsaw. Finish it however you want, with varnish, paint, wood stain or whatever you want. Coffee Candy Boxes These plans show you how to make 2 coffins. The first measures 12 in by 5 1/2 in with a capacity of about 5 cups. It features a single, hinged lid. The second is slightly larger, measuring 13 1/2 in by 7 in with a capacity of about 10 cups. It features a double hinged lid. The coffins are made from standard lumber, 6x1, 4x1 or 3x1. Easy to work with & cheaply available. Interior is painted. Exterior is stained & then spray varnished.
