Needle Felted Moon Gazing Hare - Framed Sculpture Ooak Woodland Wall Decor

Custom made for you, this new version of my much loved moon hare is mounted inside her own moon circle, & can be mounted on a handmade stand or on a wall. Did you know that a sight of a Hare, particularly a Moon Gazing one, is considered to be a positive symbol, associated with positive energies, such as growth & re-birth. This beautiful golden brown moon gazing hare sculpture is made from soft natural wool with a covered aluminium wire armature. She is around 7 inches tall, & the wooden frame, made from a repurposed drum hoop, is available in an 8 inch or 10 inch diameter. This unique sculpture, is fully posable so becomes a 'living' art work. Your own lovely hare is marked with my ArtemisFibreArt signature silver tag. Current making time is around 8 weeks HOW THIS ITEM IS MADE Needle felting is the process of binding wool fibres by repeatedly stabbing them with a barbed needle. The barbs catch onto the fibres & cause them to tangle & bind together. To create a 3D sculpture it can take hours of work & thousands of stabs from start to finish.
