This is a DEATH tarot card 'plaque', in the style of the Etteilla Tarot. It's available in metal (cast aluminum), or hard plastic (resin). This metal tablet feels so cool! It weighs about a pound (0.45 kg), & is approximately 7 (178mm) tall. Whether you're all about tarot, or the macabre, or you just like unusual objects d'art it'll look great in your cabinet of curiosities. & there's something about it that begs to be handled! We now also offer a less-expensive version in cast resin. It's a hard plastic that still makes you want to handle it. It can be painted or re-painted (and I'll paint it in silver or brass) as you wish. It's not easy to tell the difference between the resin & aluminum when looking from even a short distance; but you can really tell a difference when you pick up one. These are made completely in Mississippi. The metal cards are cast using reclaimed aluminum, from a master pattern carved in clay. The silver color of the aluminum tablet is accented with black paint, though you can easily decorate it to achieve the look that best fits your display. The resin cards are cast in polyurethane plastic from a silicone mold. They're durable, & hard, & likewise can be painted or re-painted as you like.
