Slim rustic bench, an ideal end of bed bench or display piece for your hallway, bedroom or living area. Made with reclaimed scaffold boards, which have been sanded, cleaned & waxed for protection. Available in 4 colour options: light, medium, dark & white tint. Available in a range of standard lengths & two heights: standard (approximately 39-40cm) & tall (approximately 49-50cm). Custom sizes available, please contact us to enquire. Measures approximately 22.5cm deep at the top, with the legs being around 3.5-4cm thick. The bench has splayed legs therefore is slightly wider at the bottom of the legs. This bench is securely joined with screws, which will be countersunk & then covered. What to expect in our reclaimed wood products: Cracks & splits Hammer indents Knots Saw marks Paint remnants Rust stains Dents Old nail holes Old nails/staples Uneven surfaces Biscuit stitching Branding (See image for some examples) Our wood comes from reclaimed scaffold boards, which have an industrial, building or manufacturing background, & therefore all of the above are common characteristics, depending on the age of the boards & how they have been used. We celebrate these features & will aim to retain as much of their original charm as possible. We do not use engineered wood & therefore items will not always have a flat or even surface. Some items may have a slight wobble, but this should not be so significant that it interferes with the overall function of the item & your enjoyment of it. As the reclaimed timber adjusts to the conditions in your home, over time there may be slight movement in the wood such as shrinkage as well as small cracks opening & closing depending on the environment. As each piece of wood is individual not all boards will appear as 'rustic' as others. Sometimes we have newer looking boards with less industrial character. If you require an item with either more or fewer rustic features then please advise us when you order. Please contact us prior to ordering if you have any questions relating to our products & the character you can expect. Returns: We do have an exchange or refund policy which can be seen in the delivery & returns section. However, we would highlight that we do not cover the cost of return postage. The product must be packaged securely by the customer & we will only offer full refunds to products received in the same original condition as when sent. We do not accept returns or offer refunds on custom made products. As all of our products are made to order, & because we want to get your order to you as soon as possible within our estimated timescales, items may be recently waxed or oiled. As a result we would advise that extra care is taken when placing items against light coloured walls to avoid any colour transfer taking place. DELIVERY We will aim to get your order to you as quickly as possible, but because our items are made to order & some delivery times vary please check the stated delivery timescales on your order. It is possible that we will have your order ready within this time, but please check before ordering if you need your item by a specific date. Free shipping or any stated shipping fees are for standard delivery via courier to mainland UK only. Delivery to Northern Ireland & UK Highlands & Islands may attract a higher shipping fee.
