Elements Series 4

Elements 4 has a hand carved, alabaster wind piece as part of the assemblage honoring the four elements. Also included are a scallop shell, an orange candle, & a wonderful seed pod. These are organized onto a slate base which has a loop for hanging. The small piece works well in smaller rooms or wall spaces. My sister is also an artist. One day not too long ago, she invited me to join her in submitting work to her gallery as part of an auction benefit for Haiti. I made a little assemblage, seeking to capture the four elements using stone & other small bits & objects we both love collecting & using in our work. I titled the piece 'Elements' & sent it off to the auction. Afterwards I kept finding more & more little bits & object that kept reminding me of the little piece. So I decided to use them to make The Elements Series. Elements Series 4
