Museum & exhibition quality TTT-sheet plastinate in acrylic embedding by Dr. von Horst without consultation. Examples show a fish plastinate in size appr. 20 x 14 x 2,5cm with laser engraving & stand (optional), a horse hoof, a pathological osteosarcoma specimen & a series of horizontal hoof sections. Choose from various available plastination specimens. Please contact me & you will receive images of available specimens to choose from. Anatomical structures are visualized to the finest details (see example detail images in the offer). For preparing a plastinate the water & fat from the tissue are removed & replaced by epoxy resin (standard plastination procedure). Afterwards the cured specimen is ground manually so that finest anatomical structures can be shown & followed within the specimen. Furthermore the thickness of different regions within the specimen can be adapted to the various tissue types (patented Tissue Tracing Technique by Dr. von Horst). The ground plastinate is then being re-embedded, cut & polished. The plastinate shows a hand-signature vHorst engraved on its side.
