Description

Stoneware tealight holder - mediaeval castle tower I rolled a slab of buff coloured clay, then cut out 2 pieces, one for the sides & one for the bottom. I then cut out the windows & added the door, bricks, ivy & tree. After bisque firing (1st firing @ 1000oC); I stained the walls with red iron oxide & glazed the door & plants. The inside of the pot is glazed in clear. I then fired it again at 1200oC Diameter: 8.5 cm / 3.4 Height: 15 cm / 6 Designed & handmade by Marion Walsh.
