Each wall moon clock is completely hand made in Portland Oregon by Christy Nyboer & each a work of art. These clocks are constructed of locally sourced wood (baltic birch & apple ply) & individually hand painted & sanded before screen printing the moon image. The plywood edge is kept raw & unpainted... showing off the beautiful layers of the natural wood material. Each clock is hand built per order, so customers select their clock hand colors (2 seperate hand colors available upon request). Clock face sits .75 away from the wall once hung & creates a lovely shadow that gives the moon depth & enhances the illusion of 3D moon floating on your wall. The metallic inks used for the clock face change as the light changes in your space, plus as you move around the room. Sometimes the metallic ink looks very subtle & sometimes very dramatic. Adding neon hands to the clocks give it nice pop of color that is eye catching & modern. Additional details: - wall clock measures 14 inch round (perfect) circle face with a total depth of 1.25 - Clock comes with a QUARTZ movement & AA BATTERY NOT INCLUDED. - Hanging hardware is included on the back of each clock, yet hidden from sight once hung. - Clock ships very securely in a specially designed box so no parts get broken. - Made to order - please allow at least one full week to process if ordering. - Back of each clock is hand signed & dated by Christy Nyboer of Little Lark.
