Yin & Yang Wood Clock in Chinese philosophy, Yin & Yang (also Yin-Yang or Yin Yang, ynyng darkbright) describe how seemingly opposite or contrary forces may actually be complementary, interconnected, & interdependent in the natural world, & how they may give rise to each other as they interrelate to one another. Many tangible dualities (such as light & dark, fire & water, expanding & contracting) are thought of as physical manifestations of the duality symbolized by yin & yang. Made from two pieces pasted with veneer sheets of Oak & Walnut or Wenge, to provide dimension & depth, as well as a striking contrast between the colors of the woods. Hand varnished & finished. Designed & produced meticulously. The quartz movement is both RoHS & CE certified. Metal hands with continuous non-stop / non-ticking movement of the second hand.
