Weighted Blanket - Adult Size

This listing is for a made to order weighted blanket in adult size. Here are all the necessary details ???? What are the characteristics of this weighted blanket ? Adult size weighted blankets are blankets weighting between 4,5kg & 9kg. They are made with 100% cotton fabric, measure 1m by 1,8m & are weighted with glass micro-beads or plastic poly-pellets. What weight & type of beads should I choose for my weighted blanket ? To figure out how much the weighted blanket should weight, take 10% of the body weight of the person who will be using the blanket & add 500g. For example, a person weighting 60kg would get a 6,5kg blanket. However, adults sometimes prefer a weight over the weight recommended by this formula. Poly-pellets cost 1,5 euros per 500g, they feel like round grains of rice, they can make some noise when the blanket is moving, & they retain more heat than glass micro-beads. Glass micro-beads cost 0,5 euros per 500g, they feel like sand, they are almost soundless, & they feel colder to the touch. Are weighted blankets washable ? All the materials used in weighted blankets can be used in a washing machine & dryer, as long as the machine can handle the weight. Use a gentle cycle, with a temperature of 30oC. This information will be available on the blanket's label. If you want to protect your blanket between washings, you can use it with a cover.
