This leaf measures 25 inches long from end of stem to point & 13 inches wide at its widest. I've used the best silk dyes, steamed to make the colors permanent. The underside of the pillow is a soft green dotted cotton. This leaf is painted in emerald green, teal blue & lime green. I used permanent silk dyes when I painted this silk & then quilted it to a batting backing using the trapunto technique of double stuffing the stem so it will stand out in relief.
