Hello, my name is Daniel & I am a ceramic artists based out of Fullerton, Ca. All my lamps are handmade on the potters wheel by me in my home studio. This is the second lamp of the 'Dome' design Dome #2 started off by throwing three separate pieces. Two of them were attached to form the base. The next day the pieces are trimmed & specific holes are drilled & cut out for the integrated switch, wire, & lighting socket. Over the next couple weeks they lay on shelves & slowly dry. I go out there daily to adjust the plastic wrapping to skew the speed of the drying process. After a couple of weeks they are loaded into the kiln & fired to 2160 degrees fahrenheit. The lamps are then removed & custom fitted with the lighting elements Each piece is handmade but this posting is for the lamp you see: Dome 2 All lights are wired with UL certified sockets & switches.
