It is hand-carved at our workshop in Cascais - Lisbon, seeking to enhance the beauty & uniqueness of wood. Inspired by wabi-sabi aesthetics, each lamp is different, in order to appreciate the beauty that is imperfect, impermanent, & incomplete in nature. A sculpture wall mounted lamp made with natural wood, with a simple & minimal design, with japandi style, that emits a very pleasant & ambient glow. It is a beautiful lighting, suitable for bedrooms, living rooms, corridors, kitchens, hotels, restaurants ... Cracks or knots are part of the wood & may appear in the lamp. At SO-SO, we believe in a small, local & sustainable production. All lamps are slowly hand-carved by Joo, one by one, in Lisbon - Portugal. For this reason, there are made in small editions. Each lamp is unique... Each SO-SO piece is inspired by a Portuguese expression. It comes with a small illustration, explaining the meaning of the expression.
