This catfish wire sculpture is made from 14-gauge steel wire & attached to a unique driftwood base. Sculpting with wire allows me to define forms & imply movement as each piece becomes a dynamic drawing in space. Because I sculpt with steel wire, this piece may oxidize & develop a rust patina. If you prefer to protect your piece from rust, a light coating of a clear spray varnish may be applied. I avoid using paints & solvents, & I try to reuse packaging & shipping materials.
