Great little task lamp with loads of charm & character. Features a steel articulating arm, cast iron joints, a spun brass base, & a vintage style bulb cage. Wiring is brand new reproduction black twisted cloth cord & a new antique style plug. The socket is a very high quality reproduction with a round turn-key & an aged brass finish. Everything works perfectly & safely. Two separate joints enable the lamp to be positioned in a wide variety of ways. These joints are the real deal: solid cast iron, built to last a lifetime. An antique valve handle has been added to the lowest joint to make repositioning a breeze. Socket takes regular size bulbs, & looks great with an Edison bulb, as pictured. This lamp can also be reconfigured to mount on the wall for a small additional cost. (See last picture as an example of what it might look like wall mounted.)
