Natural biege alpaca yarn on a cotton core is the mainstay for this soft floor mat. The yarn was locally grown & spun here in Ohio in the U.S.A. I offset that yarn with a another locallay produced & hand dyed sage green alpaca in a smaller diameter. This gives some nice texture to the overall plush rug. The ends have been woven in yet another alpaca, which is a superfine , rich brown tweed from Peru. The entire rug has durable poly cotton rug warp to ensure that it will last for years to come. This will work as a bath mat or a mat to let your bare toes touch when you crawl out of bed. It's soft enough to comfort you in the kitchen while preparing meals or even as a beautiful accent in front of your door or fireplace. A versatile small rug!
