Hestu - Korok - Botw/Totk

As part of Linktober we have made HESTU! The Koroks are very social creatures of the Lost woods, the love to play hide & seek, as well as hang out in the woods ! Hestu is a large Korok, & the most celebrated musician of Korok Forest (or so says he), who is fond of saying Shalaka lala! & helping link on his journey. As Part of Linktober this year we made this sweet hero part of the Korok prompt. HESTU Hestu was created by handsculpting clay. He has a clay body supported by a wire skeleton, a card face painted to mimic a leaf & a stong base with wires extending from the base throughout his body for extra stability. Details are made from clay. wire & fabric including his satchel. HESTU - Hestu is made from wire & clay with a lightweight core. - Hestu measures at 7 inches tall & 5 inches from each arm end (17.5cm x 12.5cm). - Hestu is coated in a matte varnish as to protect the paint & clay. - He is completed in acrylic paint. - Hestu is attached to the base with wire & industrial glue. - He is completed with a base made from high density card & decorated with handmade stones FACE - Hestu's face is made from card & clay. - He is completed in acrylic paint to mimic a leaf. BASE - He is completed with a base made from high density card & decorated with handmade stones - It is painted to mimic grass - It has a diameter of 3.5 inches (8.25cm) & thickness of 0.5 inches (1.25 cm) - It is protected by a varnish.
