"Torched Tea Light Holder ""Mdf 02"

I turned this tea light holder, made of laminated wood fiber panels, into a vase-like shape by hand. Then I painted the roughly worked blank with red paint to fill in the gaps & then slashed away a part of the paint. Most recently, I worked it with beeswax (from my own production) to underline the natural structure & appearance of the wood. At the same time, you can see at the composite sites how the size of the fibres in the material decreases towards the edge, which leads to an interesting stripe pattern. The tea-light holder MDF 02 is at its widest point about 9 cm wide & about 10 cm high. This tea light holder is designed for commercially available tea lights. It is technically possible to use mute candles of the same diameter, but I advise off this for safety reasons. Candles can be a source of danger. Please keep enough distance from combustible materials. When using tea lights in the usual metal bowl, the use of a wooden tea light holder is usually safe. Torched Tea Light Holder Mdf 02
