I made this quilt with the inspiration of my Grandma Bertha & her sister, my Great Aunt Ruth. These women were a major part of my childhood. They taught me how to hand sew pieces of scrap fabric together to make crazy squares when I was nine years old. Although this quilt is not made by hand sewing scraps to make the squares, the centiment is still the same. The nine large crazy squares are made from a variety of soft colored scraps of fabric. The cream colored sashing & borders makes this a very soft looking & warm feeling quilt. Sized for the lap, couch, chair or where ever warmth & comfort are needed. Machine quilting in an all over floral paisley design is done in a cream thread. The hand binding is traditional quilter's method & will help this quilt last for years. Easily cared for in your home washing machine & dryer. Love is added in each stitch created in my smoke free & pet free home. Special orders are always welcome for a differnt size, color or pattern.
