This pretty throw pillow cushion cover is handmade using Rubelli jacquard fabric - Sumi pattern - in bronze color, backed with Rubelli fabric bronze color The cover has a zipper closure for easy removal when ready to wash. (The pillow form is not included) Lampas in Trevira with a markedly Japanese style. The decoration is a landscape pattern taken from a Japanese Sumi-e art original, a single-colour pictorial style based on a play on the shading due to the change in concentration of the ink on the brush. The reworking of this technique in textile mode has moved towards the translation, through a wide variety of weaves, of the shades & evanescences typical of this style & present in the original document. This has produced a fabric with a typically oriental style thanks to the fascinating & ethereal landscape which decorates it.
