Next, each piece of our metal wall art is airbrushed by hand, ensuring that no two are exactly the same. Rather than paint, we use a transparent, UV resistant metal dye. This allows you to place your piece inside or outside, while retaining its beautiful color for years to come. Finally, your piece is finished with a clear powder coat, a thick sturdy material, which adds an extra layer of protection to the aluminum as well as the color. Our pieces are created to last & enjoy year over year. Each octopus is different & made to order. We will do our best to make your piece as close to the photos as possible, but please understand there may be differences. If you require certain colors in particular, please include a note with your purchase. This 25 octopus is approximately 17 tall. Provided video shows our matte finish octopus. For those who may live directly on the coast, aluminum can pit over time, leaving a chalky appearance to your aluminum. If you're concerned with this occurring where you choose to hang your octopus, each octopus is finished with a clear powder coat. Now your beautiful piece is protected from oxidizing. No worry about keeping this outside, enjoy it anywhere. Powder coat is a thick, sturdy material used to protect outdoor furniture, machinery, even household appliances. We find that powder coating offers more reliable protection for our pieces than paint. All of our items are made here in Florida at our family run shop.
