Shades come with a removable plastic insert to allow use with a UK or European fitting. Shades are backed with flame retardant PVC & we recommend using an energy saving bulb with them. They use less energy & are cool to the touch, avoiding the problem of scorching. ALL OUR LAMPSHADES ARE HANDMADE TO ORDER & WE CANNOT GUARANTEE THAT THE PATTERN AT THE SEAM WILL JOIN UP.
