Handcrafted Coat Barrel Stave Rack from an Oak Whiskey Barrels Dark walnut stain pictured This coat rack is made from an authentic Kentucky barrel stave. They are assembled with 4 matte black coat hooks. This would be a perfect addition to any entry way, bathroom or bedroom. Crafting Process: 1. We sand, stain & coat each barrel meticulously so that it is a finished presentable product. The pictured staves are examples of one of the many we have created. Every barrel stave is different from one another & they may vary in size & color. Some are more narrow than others & some are wider. 2. Stains do take differently depending on the nature of the barrel. Each individual item's appearance & color tone may vary due to the reclaimed barrel material. We will work with you when trying to match furniture pieces & achieve a specific color. 3. Once fully stained a lacquer finish is applied for extra protection as well as to enhance its appearance. 4. Hooks are handpicked & drilled into place. The design of the hooks may vary depending on what is available. Hooks are usually a black or brushed bronze but if you have specific hooks in mind please let us know. These staves may have scuffs, cracks, wood knots marks or slight variations in colors that are typical characteristics of a barrel stave & come from natural factors that occur in the wood & handling of the barrels at the distillery. These are sturdy barrels & are not meant to be pristine but they definitely will add some charm to your space. Dimensions: -36 Wide -2-5 Height -1'' Thick -Extend 6 from the wall as they are curved to the contour of the barrel -4 heavy duty double hooks installed (or however many you desire. Hooks can be customized depending on what you are trying to hang) Dimensions are approximate & vary slightly as each barrel is different. Installation: -Pre-drilled holes on each end of the stave to attach coat rack to the wall. These two holes once drilled will prevent the rack from moving side to side.
