Stone III - this minimalistic yarn wall hanging is a part of my stones inspired series. It resembles simple rocks formations, however it is only my initial connotation & as the form is very open - so can be the interpretation. I created these structural, 3D forms using a specific textile hand creating technique called punch needle rug hooking, it's like a textured painting but made of cream yarn. Stone III would look great in a contemporary space & would suit minimalistic, scandi/japandi style, however it's universal design would work well also in more traditional homes. COMPONENTS: The piece measures 80x60 cm (31,5x23,6 inches) & altough I had a vertical position in mind when creating the tapestry - it can be hung up both in horizontal & vertical position - drop me a message which position would suit you best. I used jute canvas & blend of wool & acrylic beige/cream yarn. Made in a smoke-free enviroment.
