A reversible king size kantha quilt hand block printed in deep indigo & sky blue on one side, rich teal & navy on the other two bold, graphic compositions on 100% cotton, hand-stitched by artisans in Jaipur using the traditional kantha technique. The Design & Making: The front divides into sky & sea: a pale blue upper field gives way to a sweeping deep indigo lower section where a concentric arch motif rises on the left & wave forms roll across the right graphic, elemental, & landscape-like all at once. The reverse is quieter but equally considered: a solid teal ground with a single large navy circle centered on the face, its interior filled with radiating kantha stitching that creates a spoke-like texture visible only up close. Each color is applied with a separate hand-carved wooden block, pressed onto cotton by hand. Once the dye sets, artisan hands layer the cotton fill & stitch it all together using the kantha technique, creating the quilt's signature rippled running-stitch texture across both faces.
