Mr. Orange Fronted Conure, Needle Felted Bird Fiber Sculpture

The Orange-fronted or Half-moon Conure is an arboreal termitarium breeder, which means that it nests in termite mounds found up in trees. These Conures will also nest in abandoned woodpecker holes. My conure is needle felted, a process in which wool is poked repeatedly by a barbed needle until the desired form takes shape. Great care has been taken to accurately depict this bird's markings & colors. I can make him slightly smaller than lifesize at 9 inches or lifesize at 11 inches in length. Any other sizes please contact me for a quote. He stands on sturdy wire feet & has black glass eyes. I can also make this conure in other color mutations, but please contact me to make sure I have the colors I need in stock. Mr. Orange Fronted Conure is custom made once your order is placed & payment is received. I usually ship within 2-4 weeks, but it depends on how many orders I have.
